Global Intelligence Firm Ranks Australian Cities by Ultra High Net Worth Population, Highlights Perth as ‘Hotspot’.
 
8th January 2012; Sydney – Perth, Australia’s mining power house, will have more ultra high net worth (UHNW) individuals compared to Brisbane by 2014, according to Wealth-X, the global intelligence, prospecting and wealth due diligence company. Wealth-X lists Perth as the fourth most popular Australian city among the country’s super rich in its first annual ranking of Australian cities by UHNW population. Brisbane is third.

Sydney, with 33 percent or 920 out of the 2,740 UHNW individuals in Australia, tops the list. UHNW refers to individuals with a minimum net worth of US$30 million. The top five Australian cities with the largest number of UHNW in the country are:
