Wealth-X’s top 10 UHNW philanthropists in India gave an average of 4.8% of their net worth. The top three philanthropists’ total gifts represent 10.6% of their net worth, while the remaining philanthropists’ total gifts represent 1.4% of their net worth.
All of the philanthropists on the list gave to causes focused on education. Causes related to health and public social benefit are second most popular, garnering the support of 90% of the donors. This is followed by arts, culture and humanities causes (50%).
Average age of Wealth-X’s top 10 UHNW philanthropists is 62 years old.
