The top of the ultra rich in Europe :Romania is 26 out of 45
The number of ultra rich in Romania, with wealth of over 30 million dollars was kept constant between August 2011 – July 2012 – 125 – but the value of their accumulated wealth dropped by 8.4% from 15 billion dollars to 14 billion dollars, according to a study of the research company Wealth X. Romania is 26 out of 45 analysed European states, at a distance from Monaco, which is position 25 with 195 ultra rich and before Belarus , which is 27 with 115 people with wealth over 30 million dollars. At European level, Romania comes before states with a lower population.
The European top 10 is led by Germany with 15,770 ultra rich and wealth of 2,050 billion dollars, followed by the UK with 10,515 people in this category with accumulated wealth of 1,325 billion dollars, Switzerland with 5,595 ultra rich with 655 billion dollars, France (4,100 rich with over 30 million dollars), Italy (1,940), Spain (1,520), Norway (1,370), the Netherlands(1,205), Russia (1,145) and Sweden (990).The last five places are occupied by Estonia (40), Macedonia (35), Montenegro (21), Andorra (19) and Malta (16).
Out of the countries in Central and Eastern Europe, Poland is the highest in the top, 13 with 775 ultra rich with a total wealth of 90 billion dollars, Greece – 20th position, with 455 people whose wealth is 50 billion dollars, followed by Ukraine (19) with 480 people and 55 billion dollars, and Hungary ( position 22) with 365 people with wealth of 40 billion dollars. Croatia and the Czech Republic occupy together position 23 and 24, equal to 260 ultra rich and accumulated wealth of 30 billion dollars each.
After Romania is Serbia (position 29) with 90 people with 11 billion dollars, Moldova (33) with 75 people and 8 billion dollars, and Slovenia (34) with 70 super rich and 8 billion dollars.Slovenia, Cyprus and Bulgaria are equally on position 38, with 45 people with wealth of over 30 billion dollars, each, who own totally in each of the three countries 5 billion dollars.
In Europe there are 53,441 ultra rich people with wealth of almost 7,000 billion dollars. Over the last year, Europe recorded a reduction of almost 2% of the number of people with wealth of over 30 million dollars.Spain, Italy and France had the biggest reductions as regards the population of super rich, while Luxembourg and Denmark had the biggest growth.
Many millionaires became over the last year less rich, the Wealth-X study shows, while the billionaires, supported by big teams of specialists in administrating the wealth, passed well the last year of crisis.At global level, the number of the people with wealth of over 30 million dollars went up at 187,380 but the cumulated wealth went down by 1.8% at 25,800 of billion dollars. The number of the billionaires went up by 9.4% at 2,160 people and their wealth by 14% at 6,200 billion dollars.
The report World Ultra Wealth of Wealth –X is at its second edition and aims at the people with wealth of over 30 million dollars and more. The things which are taken into consideration are shares with companies listed or non-listed on the stock exchange, investment in real estate, art collections, planes, money and assets.
